Postpartum Support Program (Research)

Main Focus:

 

  1. The Postpartum Support Program is a research study comparing two different psychotherapies for postpartum depression: Family Treatment for Postpartum Depression vs. Supportive Individual Psychotherapy.
  2. Eligible postpartum women who enroll receive psychotherapy at no cost, and are clinically monitored during the time that they are involved in the program.
  3. Services are provided in both English and Spanish. Assistance with transportation and childcare is provided to eligible women.
  4. The overall goal of this research program is to help develop and evaluate new psychosocial treatments tailored specifically for women with postpartum depression.
